At this point in the season, Peyton and Eli Manning's Monday Night Football telecast is a well-oiled machine. Unfortunately for Eli, the same cannot be said about theNew York Giants.
With their 30-10 Week 11 loss toTom Bradyand theTampa Bay Buccaneers, the G-Men dropped to 3-7 on the season.
But luckily for fans of the ManningCast, the Manning brothers and their star-studded guest list ensured there was no shortage of entertainment.
The jokes started early as Peyton recalled that his younger brother wasn't much of a run threat when he was under center for the Giants -- and things only escalated from there.
Come for Kevin Hart accusing Peyton and Eli of having a fake friendship and stay for Julian Edelman narrating a conversation between Brady andRob Gronkowski.
Here are the top moments from when Bill Parcells, Hart, Condoleezza Rice and Edelman joined the show:
Tell us how you really feel, Parcells ...
Whether it be about Peyton's slew of interceptions during his rookie season or the Manning bros.' "country club" aesthetic, the Big Tuna spared no feelings during his time on the show.
The two-time Super Bowl champion coach also signed off the telecast with a heartfelt "Once a Giant, always a Giant" shoutout to Eli, which was a nice change of pace from the rest of the chirping-filled night.
Getting to the Hart of it all ...
Speaking of chirping, Kevin Hart was in rare form. The avidPhiladelphia Eaglesfan came in hot, as he's wont to do. First, he came for the Giants' lackluster defense, then he turned his attention to debunking Peyton and Eli's friendship before analyzing Eli's "pooted" face.
At the end of the show, the brothers did indicate they won't be spending Thanksgiving together. Maybe Hart is on to something.
... That or they just have families of their own. But we'll let him have this one.
Ricerolls with the Tide ...
Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is a dedicated college football fan. However, her rooting interests aren't quite the same as Peyton and Eli's.
Rice was quick to remind the former SEC standouts of how their beloved alma maters (Tennessee and Ole Miss) have fared against her Alabama Crimson Tide. Hint: Not well.
Edelman for the win ...
As the kids say, Julian Edelman understood the assignment. The formerNew England Patriotsstandout WR joined the show in the fourth quarter as the game was, well, lopsided. But he didn't let that stop him from making an impression (or several) during his time with the Manning brothers.
First, the man who has been known to sport a glorious beard lent his judgment to the facial hair Peyton rocked at one point of hisIndianapolis Coltstenure.
The 3 rating was generous.
Then, in perhaps the crowning moment of the evening, Edelman leaned upon his true talent: imitating Brady and Gronk.
While we can't know the actual dialogue of the conversation, this is the only version we're interested in.
Brady, big "babe" guy.
