JACKSON HEIGHTS (WABC) -- Goooooooaaaaal!

Exuberant fans took to the streets of Jackson Heights after Colombia's World Cup win against the Ivory Coast 2-1 today. This is the second straight win for the team.

Soccer fans marched along Northern Boulevard and 82nd Street dressed in the Colombian flag's colors: yellow, red and blue.

Police called a Level 1 Mobilization to escort the crowd and to keep vehicular traffic clear. The crowd is reported to be orderly.

If Colombia defeats Japan they will advance to the next round--a feat that will likely delight fans once again.
