The New York Giants and Washington Commanders meet for the second time in three weeks after their last matchup ended in a 20-20 tie at MetLife Stadium. Both teams are still fighting for a playoff spot in the NFC and need a win to stay alive in the race. However, the Commanders are coming off a bye week and are now at home, while New York suffered a brutal loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

So what can we expect from a betting standpoint Sunday night?

Our betting experts provide their top plays for the matchup.

Note: Lines from Caesars Sportsbook unless otherwise indicated.

The Giants and Commanders (-4.5, 40.5) get a rematch of their 20-20 tie from two weeks ago. The Giants are 0-3-1 in their past four games and last beat a team with a winning record two months ago. The Commanders, on the other hand, are 6-1-1 over their past eight games. Who do you like in this matchup?

Fortenbaugh: I have no problem laying it with Washington. These two met two weeks ago in New York, and the Commanders were laying 2.5 points. Now the location shifts to Washington with the Commanders coming off a bye week and the line is only -4.5? I see value there.

Fulghum: I'll ride the wave and play under 40.5. This was the exact same total we saw a couple of weeks ago, and it looked like a stone-cold loser when the Commanders tied the game at 20 late in the fourth quarter. Luckily for us, however, this is still the Commanders and Giants, so neither team scored in OT and we escaped with a win. Let's run it back.

Schatz: I'll take the Giants +4.5 in what should be a close game. I'm happy to win with a close Commanders victory of three or four points. The Commanders are higher than the Giants in our DVOA ratings, but not by much, with Washington ranked 17th and New York ranked 24th. Plus, New York is the better offense, and we know offense is more predictive than defense. I think the Giants can keep this close again.

Marks:Giants +4.5. Saquon Barkley had a great week of practice and is ready to get back to early-season form. He likes to run off the edge -- where the Commanders' defense is most vulnerable. Daniel Jones is 15-5 ATS as a road dog, and Washington is allowing 10 yards per target to opposing wide receivers.

What is your favorite player prop for Sunday night?

Snellings: Terry McLaurin over 62.5 receiving yards. McLaurin has averaged 82.6 receiving yards per game in the seven contests since Taylor Heineke took over as the starting quarterback, including his eight-reception, 105-yard effort (with a touchdown) against these same Giants two weeks ago.

What else are you playing in this game?

Snellings: Saquon Barkley to score a touchdown (+102). Barkley has scored touchdowns in four of his past six games, including his last outing against the Commanders. As Anita pointed out, he's had a strong week of practice and will have to produce for the Giants to have any chance Sunday night.
