NEW YORK (WABC) -- Many people have never heard of squash, which is kind of like racquetball and tennis but with walls. But Alex Wessner -- one of the founders of the Public Squash Foundation -- is hoping more people start playing.
To make the game more accessible to everyone, his group is raising $100,000 to build an outdoor squash court at a New York City park that will be all glass with no roof and have basketball court-like floors and a drainage system.
Wessner says they hope to break ground in August and have the court up for play two weeks later, but is that a plausible goal? Watch Lauren Glassberg's report above.
