Woman stabbed outside Starbucks in Brighton Beach, stumbles inside for help

BRIGHTON BEACH (WABC) -- Police are investigating a stabbing in Brooklyn that happened near where a woman was shot close to a school earlier this week.

Authorities say a woman in her 20s was stabbed outside the Starbucks on Brighton Beach Avenue in Brighton Beach.

She stumbled into the Starbucks for help.

The woman was stabbed in the shoulder and neck and was taken to Lutheran Medical Center, where she's listed in stable condition. He injuries are not life threatening.

Police say the stabbing is domestic in nature, and they are looking for the estranged husband of the victim.

The couple has a long history of domestic violence, and he has been arrested in the past.

The victim has no connection to the incident near PS 253. Students were not impacted, and kids were dismissed as usual.
