The life of a 21-year-old rideshare driver has been forever changed after he was shot during an attempted carjacking in Brooklyn that left him unconscious for 10 days.
Dramatic video captured the struggle between a pastor from Bridgeport, Connecticut, and an armed carjacker who attempted to steal his Audi parked outside a restaurant near Baltimore last month.
The carjacking happened around 10:50 p.m. on Saturday on Ward Avenue in the Soundview section.
It all started around 5 p.m. in Kearny when a Uber driver says his passenger was loading a gun in the back seat. The gun went off and narrowly missed him.
It all started around 6:30 a.m. Sunday in Astoria. The officer was sitting inside his parked green sports car on 43rd Avenue. Two spots behind it was a gray Nissan with at least two suspects inside.
The 32-year-old victim is a baggage handler at John F. Kennedy Airport and had just gotten off his shift.
