TEMECULA, Calif. -- Riverside County and Cal Fire firefighters rescued a Great Pyrenees from a drain pipe in Temecula Sunday.
Around 11 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to the 25000 block of Avenida Del Oro on reports of a man and his dog trapped inside of a drain pipe.
When the firefighters arrived, the man had removed himself from the pipe but his dog remained trapped. The firefighters worked to cut the drain pipe and extract the dog.
Shortly after midnight, the dog was freed. Both the owner and dog were not injured.
