Blade found in Halloween candy on Long Island
A teen in Suffolk County opened her mini 3 Musketeers bar she got on Halloween and found a dangerous blade.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, Long Island (WABC) -- A teenager on Long Island claims to have found a blade inside a candy bar, Suffolk County Police said.

Police say the 13-year-old girl from Setauket told them that she found the blade in a mini 3 Musketeers bar Thursday night.

Her mother reported it to authorities just after 7:30 p.m.

According to police, the girl had gone out trick-or-treating on Halloween and had also traded candy with her classmates at Paul J. Gelinas Junior High School so, if this is true, it's not clear exactly where the piece of candy might have come from.
