Underwear Run through Central Park

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Hundreds of people got down to their skivvies on a misty Friday evening for a fun run in Central Park.

The Gildan 1.7 mile Underwear Run wasn't a competition, just a fun time!

There was a playful feline, a bunch of lifeguards, and a man just casually catching up on newspaper headlines as he ran.

The run kicked off race weekend, for the 17th Annual 2XU New York City Triathlon which is on Sunday.
