LOWER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- Crews are on the scene of a water main break in Manhattan that left a road flooded early Saturday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Pitt and Rivington on the Lower East Side.
Crews were able to turn off the water and most of the flooding has since receded.
But because of the freezing cold, the water turned the street into a sheet of ice. DEP workers will have to excavate the street to fix the break.
