NEW YORK (WABC) -- Look for a very warm day Thursday, another bonus summer-like day before a significant cooldown heading into the weekend.

Highs will be in the low 80s.

Clouds and cooler temperatures return Friday with showers showing up later on Saturday into Sunday.

We'll go above average again early next week.
