At least 2 cops hurt in motorcycle accident

Box truck reportedly hit group of officers
ORANGETOWN-WABC Orangetown police say a group of uniformed police officers from various Bergen County, New Jersey police agencies were heading back to New Jersey on northbound 9W after completing funeral escort detail.

Authorities say one officer was taken by helicopter to Westchester Medical Center. The second was being treated at the scene.

Police say the box truck was traveling southbound on Route 9W when the incident occurred.

At least two other officers suffered road scuffs from dumping their bikes, officials said. They were taken to Nyack Hospital.

The two most seriously injured officers were struck directly by the box truck.

Officers are from various New Jersey police departments are investigating.
