Police say a thief smashed a display at The Mall at Short Hills and stole several watches, the second robbery at the Millburn mall in as many weeks. The suspect broke a display case and stole the watches from Orologio, a store on the mall's second floor.

They stole several high-end watches of unknown value and fled the scene.

Millburn police were looking for as many as two suspects in a green 2005 Toyota wagon.

Last Wednesday, four robbers used a stolen SUV to ram through the front door of Bloomingdales at the Mall at Short Hills in an attempt to steal a stash of pricey fur coats.

It was not clear if the men made off with any of the furs, which were locked to display racks.

The 1,100 square-foot Orologio watch store opened in The Mall at Short Hills in 1995.
