Woman brought to NJ, then kidnapped

NEW JERSEY Pavlina Diaz, 20, was last seen in Bernardsville, according to authorities. Police say Diaz's boyfriend paid someone to bring her to New Jersey. When the boyfriend went to pay the man, he allegedly demanded more money and then took off with Diaz in his SUV.

The driver was operating a 1998 white Ford Expedition bearing New York license plate EEH-5685. The vehicle was last seen heading south on Route 202 from the center of Bernardsville. The vehicle was reported to have contained multiple other individuals, in addition to the driver and Diaz. The vehicle is registered to Petra Rodriguez (DOB 07/12/68). Rodriguez's last known address is in the Bronx, New York. Detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office and the Bernardsville Police Department are attempting to locate the driver of the vehicle and the whereabouts of Diaz.
