Finding value when eating out

NEW YORK Thirty-eight percent of people say they're looking for less expensive ways to eat out, according to Zagat.

But surprisingly, one of the ways to eat affordably is to eat at Jean Georges, and indulge in the 24-dollar lunch special. It's an option found in the 2009 edition of the Zagat guide.

In the best buys section is Sushi Yasuda where you'll have a sublime meal at the hands of Chef Yasuda.

The Michelin guide is relatively new to America. Conveniently, its newest edition out this week features 75 restaurants with meals under 25 dollars.

The guide features the Bib Gourmand category of restaurants where you can eat an amazing meal for 40 dollars or less. This year's guide includes 58 restaurants that serve a menu with two dishes and a glass of wine or dessert at that bargain price.

Chef David Chang gets 2 Michelin stars for his pricier restaurant Momofuku Ko. His noodle bar hits the spot for those wanting his divine Asian comfort food at more comfortable prices.

Value may be the most satisfying part of dining these days.
