Northeast Corridor: Trains terminating at Jersey Avenue Station will be cancelled this afternoon/evening. Jersey Avenue Station will remain open for passengers returning via Trenton-bound trains.

NJ Transit buses are rolling again in northern New Jersey after a nine-hour suspension because of the snow.
Tens of thousands of people who ride buses in Mercer, Monmouth, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Essex, Passaic, Union, Bergen, Morris, Warren and Sussex counties had to find other transportation because of the snow.
Bus service north of I-195, including all routes in/out of NYC, was restored at 1:00 p.m. Bus route numbers 64, 68, 75, 120, 131, 133, 134, 135, 138 and 196 will remain suspended.
Port Jervis Line rail service was suspended because of downed trees and a state of emergency in Orange County, N.Y.
NJ Transit customers are advised of the following for the duration of the snow storm:
Systemwide: Customers are advised to allow extra travel time and to check njtransit.com before starting their trip.
Bus Service: While every effort will be made to continue operating bus service throughout the state, customers will experience delays, detours or cancellations on their routes due to significant snowfall and severe winter weather conditions. Customers are advised to plan accordingly and anticipate disruptions to bus service.
To give customers additional travel options, full systemwide cross-honoring will remain in effect until 5 a.m. Saturday, February 27, enabling bus customers to travel on trains or light rail at no additional charge.
In addition, all NJ TRANSIT rail station buildings and waiting rooms will remain open extended hours, including evenings and overnight, until Monday, March 1, due to extreme cold weather conditions.

Allow plenty of extra travel time as delays and service changes are possible.
Use extreme caution when walking on exposed sidewalks, parking lots or station platforms and when boarding trains and buses.
Listen closely to public address announcements at stations for late-breaking service information.
If you park, ensure your car is stocked with a snow brush and ice scraper so you can clear your car upon returning to the lot.
Report slippery or unsafe conditions to bus operators, train crews or NJ TRANSIT staff.
Local jurisdictions are responsible for clearing bus stops. Local residents can help their neighbors by shoveling the bus stops along the sidewalks near their homes so that people are not standing in the icy streets while traffic is passing.
