2nd Ave. subway construction worker croons Sinatra

August 3, 2011 4:55:58 AM PDT
A construction worker on Manhattan's Upper East Side brings something unusual with him on his lunch break - a microphone.

Gary Russo is one of the "sandhogs" building the Second Avenue subway.

On his lunch breaks, he entertains people with some of the songs that made Frank Sinatra famous.

Up until now, Russo hasn't done much singing beyond karaoke and the shower.

But he says he's happy to make people smile every day at noon.
