Going to the library is a whole new experience for children in Queens.

Thanks to a new, high-tech, interactive addition, children have a special place to learn and have fun while they do it.

The Children's Library Discovery Center is housed in this new 30 million dollar addition to the Queens Library. It's a modern building that inspires learning.

Interactive components create an environment where children can learn about science, engineering and math.

There are, of course, books related to each experience. There are high school students on hand to assist with teaching, colorful classrooms and computers, and maps with Queens' highlights and fish.
