The New York City Department of Health is coming under fire for doctoring a poster about the dangers of obesity.

The public service poster on subways warns that too much sugar can cause diabetes, which could lead to amputation.

But the New York Times is reporting that the person in the poster does not have diabetes and has both of his legs.

The image was reportedly altered to make him look like an amputee.
