A 2-alarm fire broke out in a 2 ½ story home in East Orange, New Jersey.

It happened on Shepherd Avenue between Tremont and Rhode Island Avenue around 5:40 p.m. on Monday.

The flames quickly spread from the first floor up through the roof.

The fire departments had made entry into the building but had to pull the members of the fire department out due to the risk of collapse. They were later able to enter and get the fire under control.

There is no word on any injuries.
