The Community Board there has long complained about pedestrian safety on Park Ave. between 102nd and 111th streets. Now they're asking that the sidewalks at those intersections be extended so people can stand away from the intersections – which are dangerous because the signals are often hidden from view.
Josh Einiger - who raised these safety questions earlier this week after that deadly crash - is there tonight at 11, with some possible safety solutions.
