LOWER EAST SIDE (WABC) -- A man is in critical condition after getting slashed and then stabbed on the Lower East Side early Monday morning.
The victim was attacked by 3 men around 1:40 a.m. outside the Gutter Bowling Alley along Essex Street, police said.
Police say a 21-year-old man was slashed in the neck and then stabbed in the torso.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
The attackers fled south on Essex Street, police said.
Investigators said one was wearing a white t-shirt with grey pants, another was wearing a black t-shirt and orange pants, and the third was wearing a blue sweater and dark colored pants.
