Chicago-area dentist seeks loose tooth after Mickey the Molar mascot floats away

ALGONQUIN, Ill. -- No one is smiling about a loose tooth in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

Mickey the Molar floated away from Dr. Timothy Stirneman's dental office in Algonquin earlier this week.

The dentist said the mascot of his office is a staple of the Founders Day parade in Algonquin, which is this Sunday.

People in the area are urged to contact police if they spot the molar.

Algonquin is about 40 miles northwest of Chicago.
