Breakfast kicks off annual cancer walk

Fundraising began Wednesday for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. More than a thousand people were on hand to begin fundraising efforts in the fight against breast cancer.

ABC7 has been proud to sponsor the Making Strides walks for the past 15 years. Last year, 30,000 people took part in the walk in Central Park.

The Making Strides walks will be held in New York and New Jersey on Sunday, October 19.
