New warning about multivitamins

WHITE PLAINS A new study finds more than 30 percent of multivitamins tested contain significantly more or less of an ingredient than the label claims.

Also, some children's multivitamins exceeded the safe limits of vitamin A, folic acid and niacin.

And some vitamins for seniors, men and women were missing the full amount of ingredients like calcium.

The tests were performed by a privately-held lab in White Plains.
