Dog survives being tossed off roof

BROOKLYN The ASPCA says, 19-year-old Fabian Henderson threw the 45 pound terrier mix from the roof of the Red Hook Houses on June 18.

Oreo survived the six story fall. But both front legs were shattered, and she was unable to stand.

Screws and plates implanted by ASPCA doctors helped her learn to walk again.

ASPCA investigators tracked down Henderson and he was arrested today.

He was was charged with felony animal cruelty and reckless endangerment and will be arraigned tonight.
