First 2010 arrest under Leandra's Law

WYANDANCH Police arrested Raul Rodriquez, 30, at the intersection of Commonweath and Jericho Turnpike, after it was determined he was driving while intoxicated.

At the time of the arrest, Rodriguez of Wyandanch, was in his Nissan Pathfinder with his girlfriend and her nine-year old daughter. They were released at the scene.

He is charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated under the new Leandra's Law, passed December 18, 2009.
