President Barack Obama, who initially opposed the bill that would provide medical benefits to ground zero rescue workers, recently said he's ready to sign it if passed.
Congressman Tim Bishop will lead the rally at in Hauppauge at 2 p.m.
It will be held at Innovative Stone on Motor Parkway.
The group will demand that Congress immediately take up the issue when it reconvenes on September 14.
