Aspirin to protect against colorectal cancer

NEW YORK

Researchers in Scotland found patients who took a daily low dose of aspirin for five years reduced the risk of colorectal cancer by one third.

The patients took 75 milligrams of aspirin, that's a lower dose than baby aspirin.

Some earlier studies indicated a higher dose of aspirin was advised to lower the risk of getting the disease.
