Woman, 99, found dead in Poughkeepsie; possibly suspicious

Police say the woman's caretaker called 911 at about 7:00 a.m. reporting suspicious circumstances that alarmed her.

Responding officers found the woman dead in the house on Underhill Avenue.

Detectives are now looking into the circumstances of her death.

Police are asking anyone who observed any suspicious activity in the area to call city detectives at (845) 451-4142.
