Community members and emergency workers gathered in Boerum Hill for a donation driver and fundraiser for the children's family.

An 8-year-old girl and her 6-month-old brother were pulled from the Wyckoff Houses on Sunday, after the building was deliberately set on fire.

22-year-old Thaddeus Boone is charged with attempted murder and arson. Police say he torched his girlfriend's apartment after an argument.

The injured children are the girlfriend's younger siblings.
