NEW YORK (WABC) -- If you are one of the 4 million Americans who suffer from Chronic fatigue syndrome, it looks like the problem may be in your gut, not your head.
New research shows that intestinal bacteria may influence on the ailment.
A recent study compared people's intestinal bacteria and found that sufferers of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome had less diversity in their bacteria compared to that of a healthy person.
These findings contradict the commonly held belief that the problem has psychological origins.
