Here and Now: Marking Black History Month with inspiring new memoir, short film

NEW YORK (WABC) -- On this episode of Here and Now, we learn about "Love and Justice - A Story of Triumph on Two Different Courts."

WNBA star Maya Moore and her husband share their inspiring story in a new memoir. It's about how their unlikely bond helped overturn a wrongful conviction and jumpstart a new life together.

Also, we mark Black History Month with the award-winning short film, "Fannie", which puts a spotlight on civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer.
