Man found in Mott Haven section of Bronx stabbed to death

BRONX, N.Y. (WABC) -- A man was found stabbed to death in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.

He was found just before 9 a.m. when police responded to a city park on East 135th Street near Willis Avenue. The man has not been identified.

That park is right around the corner from P.S. 154.

The man, 50, had multiple stab wounds on the back of his head and the chest. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital and pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.

The investigation was continuing and the victim has not been identified pending family notification.
