Badly decomposed body found inside park in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (WABC) -- The badly decomposed body of a woman was found inside a Queens park Tuesday morning.

Parks department workers found the body near 14th Road and Utopia Parkway inside Little Bay Park around 10 a.m.

The workers were clearing the area for a Million Tree NYC event scheduled for Wednesday when they discovered the body.

The Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.
