6 people shot and wounded outside NJ bar

PERTH AMBOY, Middlesex County (WABC) -- Authorities say six people were shot outside a Perth Amboy bar early Monday.

Police arrived just after 12:30 a.m. to find the victims outside the El Patio Bar on Fayette Street.

All were taken to Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division to be treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening.

The motive behind the shooting was not immediately known.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Detective Manuel Lopez of the Perth Amboy Police Department at (732) 324-3856 or Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office at (732) 745- 3927.
