Law enforcement sources weigh in on terror suspect

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Law enforcement sources are telling us the suspect used a 9-volt battery and wire from a Christmas light to make this pipe bomb.

The suspect says he intentionally detonated this device strapped to his body in that subway passageway.

But former members of the NYPD and FBI tell Eyewitness News that doesn't make a lot of sense.
