Man wanted in series of Suffolk County bank robberies

SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y. (WABC) -- A suspect is wanted for four bank robberies in Suffolk County.

According to Suffolk Police Department, on June 29 at 9:40 a.m., a man entered the Chase bank on Medford Avenue in Patchogue, and approached a teller. He presented a note demanding cash, and the teller complied.

The man fled on foot.

On June 11 at 4 p.m., the same suspect entered Chase on North Ocean Avenue in Farmingville and demanded cash. He fled with an undisclosed amount. On June 24 at 2:30 p.m., he entered the Chase on Sunrise Highway in East Islip, followed the same procedure and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

He robbed a Capital One on Portion Road in Lake Ronkonkoma the next day, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The man was described as white, between 35 and 45 years old, between 6 feet tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build.
