2 suspects wanted in T-Mobile store robbery near Stuyvesant Town, police say

NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Police are looking for two suspects in connection with an armed robbery of several cell phones near Stuyvesant Town.

On Sunday around 3:30 p.m., the suspects entered T-Mobile at 322 First Avenue and, using a gun, forced two employees and a customer into a back room.

According to the New York City Police Department, the suspects then took about 40 Apple and Samsung phones, and $1,500 in cash.

The suspects are described as:

-- A black man, 30 to 40, about 5 feet 11 inches, about 270 pounds with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

-- A black man, about 25, about 5 feet 9 inches and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
