As of 3 p.m. Wednesday, the Forest Fire Service said the wildfire was completely contained.
The blaze broke out on Tuesday afternoon in the area of East Commodore Boulevard and Cedar Swamp Road in Jackson Township.
The wildfire has reached 5,000 acres in size and is 50% contained, according to officials.
