Taxicab overturns on the Upper East Side, 1 critically hurt

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) -- A taxi cab got into a crash with a Doritos truck and overturned on the Upper East Side Friday morning.

It happened at around 9:22 a.m.

The Toyota Camry yellow cab was travelled on East 80th Street and was attempting to make a right turn onto southbound York Avenue when the cab clipped the corner of the truck.

The cab driver was critically injured in the crash, but he is expected to survive.
