NEW YORK CITY (WABC) -- Four years ago this weekend, New York City shut down, all to try to stop the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus.
Restaurants and bars were closed, along with schools and so many businesses. The nation's biggest city soon looked like a ghost town.
So what lessons did we learn from the pandemic, and how is the economic recovery going? What would we do differently if it happened again?
We talk to New York City Mayor Eric Adams and ABC News Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jen Ashton.
Political analyst Hank Sheinkopf also joins Up Close to weigh in on the lessons learned.
Up Close airs Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. on Channel 7, WABC-TV in New York City.
