UPTON, Long Island (WABC) -- Police are investigating a gruesome discovery inside a burned out SUV on Long Island.
Firefighters responded to reports of a car fire on Ramsey Road in Upton around 8:40 p.m. Sunday.
Once the flames were extinguished, they found a body inside.
The SUV was parked at the end of a dead end street in an Industrial Park.
The body was so badly burned that police are not able to identify the victim.
Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
