2-year old girl hospitalized after fall from Brooklyn window

MILL BASION (WABC) -- A 2-year old girl is recovering after taking a tumble from a second-floor window in Brooklyn.

Police say the girl fell onto a glass awning above the home's front door and then to the pavement.

It happened at about 1:20 Saturday afternoon in Mill Basin.

The girl is listed in serious condition at Kings County Hospital.

Police do not know whether the window had safety guards.
