Deliveryman clings to life after stabbing

HOMECREST Authorities say the 26-year-old was stabbed several times in his torso. He was then rushed to Lutheran Medical Center in very critical condition.

It happened in the Homecrest section at the corner of Avenue W and 16th Street. Police say the victim delivers at food for Ginza Japanese reataurant on Ocean Avenue.

Investigators say a suspect was seen fleeing the area.

There is no word on a motive.
