Authorities were looking for a woman who lived with the victim.
Eyewitness News is told three children -- a teenage girl and two boys -- also lived in the apartment. They were not injured.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
Police: Woman fatally stabbed by roommate
CLAREMONT Police say the victim, in her 30s, was attacked inside 1591 Fulton Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. this morning.
She was stabbed in the chest and pronounced dead at the scene.
