PATH service suspended

HOBOKEN The trains were evacuated, and no injuries were reported. The train jumped the tracks, and the wheels literally fell off the car.

Scores of commuters got stuck Wednesday, and it is uncertain if the line will re-open for the morning commute.

The incident happened at the height of the evening rush, leaving passengers searching for subway maps or shelling out cash for a taxi to get home.

Because the incident affected the 33rd Street station, in both directions, in-bound commuters from Newark were stuck as well.
