Free vacations with Fresh Air Fund

NEW YORK The event kicked off at the Port Authoritiy Bus Terminal as 80 children, ages 6 to 18, boarded buses for Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia and Virginia.

In 2009, close to 5,000 children will visit families in 13 states, from Virginia to Maine and Canada. The fund has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.7 million youngsters from disadvantaged communities since 1877.
