Deadly shooting in Brooklyn barbershop

BROOKLYN The men were shot inside the Perfect Touch Unisex Salon on Sutter Avenue just before 9:15 p.m. last night.

It's not clear if the armed robber got away with the day's receipts and tips but Eyewitness News is told one of the workers, a 42-year-old man paid with his life.

Police report he was shot several times and pronounced dead at the hospital.

Another barber, a 33-year-old man was shot in the leg and is expected to survive

As customers grieve for the victims, one neighbor believes the gunman was wearing a ski mask and holding a bag to carry away the cash.

Police say the suspect ordered the workers into the back room, but instead of a clean getaway blood was shed.

The barbershop which opened only a year ago and was already developing a list of loyal clients, remained closed Tuesday.
