A somber memorial was held on the Upper East Side Sunday, marking the second anniversary of a deadly crane collapse. The family of Ramadan Kurtaj gathered on 91st Street at the site where their loved one was killed.

27-year-old Kurtaj was one of two workers who lost their lives in the collapse.

The high-rise building is now complete.

Kurtaj had fought for his life in Kosovo before coming to America and worked long hours to send money home to his parents.

In April, a judge ruled that the city ignored court orders to provide the victims' families with information on equipment inspections.

The owner of the crane company has been indicted on manslaughter charges.
